A marriage of moisturiser and, er, cellphone charms as Clinique’s Dramatically Different helps raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness
One of those products is Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion, and, all joking aside, I think we all know someone who’s been affected by breast cancer, so I think it’s great that Clinique is donating $10 from each sale of this to The Breast Cancer Research Fund, don’t you? Oh, and you also get a mobile phone charm with it. Why? No freakin’ idea. But bring it on, Clinique, bring it on… [via Beauty Addict]

Dollface Reviews: Blinc ‘Kiss Me’ mascaraI originally bought Blinc’s ‘Kiss Me’ mascara back at the start of the year, when I was still planning for my wedding. I was desperately hunting for a mascara that wouldn’t budge, no matter how much weeping and wailing I did. (Don’t worry, I wanted to get married, I just knew I’d cry like a waterfall throughout the whole thing. And I did). Well, ‘Kiss Me’ is certainly a good bet for that…

Calvin Klein to launch a cosmetics line
Well, Christina will be hosting the launch party for the new line, which will be held on September 27th. Weridly, my invitation seems to have got lost in the post… What’s up with that, Calvin? [via Vogue]

Dollface Reviews: Benefit ‘That Gal’ brightening face primer
I’m a big fan of Benefit’s existing primer, Doctor Feelgood, which I use most days, so I had high hopes of this one. Sadly, it doesn’t look like I’ll be giving up the good Doctor anytime soon: That Gal looks good, feels good and smells good, but, unfortunately it didn’t do an awful lot for my skin. D’oh. At first glance, I was really pleased with it. You twist the bottom of the tube to make the liquid come out of the holes at the top: it comes out looking and smelling very much like Angel Delight, which makes it delicious to use (note: not literally. I didn’t try eating it, and I don’t recommend you do, either). It’s light and lovely, and it goes on like a dream (peaches and cream… Oh no, wait – that’s Benefit Georgia, isn’t it?)

Love is… emergency nail kit from Urban Outfitters
Being the clumsy oaf I am, I’d need the badly-manicured fingers of both hands to count the number of times I’ve had a Nail Emergency when there’s been not so much as an emery board in sight. You all know nail emergencies, I assume: they happen when you break a nail when you’re far from home, then end up snagging it on your tights every five minutes. The result: ugly nail, ripped tights, grumpy you. Or rather, grumpy me. Urban Outfitters aim to put an end to Bad Nail Days with this cute ‘Love Is’ nail kit, which contains a mirror, scissors, nail file clippers and tweezers (which have absolutely nothing to do with nails as far as I can see, but hey, you always need tweezers, right), all in a cute little heart-shaped holder. Cute, and just £10. Western Hairdryer – stick ‘em up, cowboy!
I don’t know about you, but I sometimes find blow-drying a little bit… well, boring, really. Who can blame the Japanese makers of this shotgun hairdryer for trying to inject a little excitement into proceedings, then? I have no idea how well this hairdryer will work – in fact, I don’t know much about it at all, given that the website’s in Japanese – but what I do know is this: I want one. Buy It: Western Dryer

Dollface Reviews: DuWop Lip Venom – lip plumping gloss
Lip venom uses all kinds of fun ingredients like cinnamon and ginger to plump the lips. What it’s basically doing is acting as an irritant to your lips, causing them to swell up in reaction, giving you that full, pouty, Angelina Jolie look. Well, all I can say is that I must have some hard-ass lips because although I did experience the slight stinging experience you’re told to expect when you apply this gloss, they didn’t exactly swell up much in response to it. The Before & After shots are after the fold…
