The holiday collections are responsible for the creation of some truly beautiful cosmetics, but they’re responsible for some rather odd looking ones, too. Take Dior’s ‘Diorlight’ lipgloss, for instance, which looks to me like a little alien pod dangling on a string. Handy, for sure – I mean, how many times have you wanted to re-apply your lipgloss, then realised you don’t have it with you? – but still… odd. Perhaps it looks better in real life, who knows?
