Skincare coated in gold – Chantecaille Nano Gold Energizing Cream

nanogold Skincare coated in gold Chantecaille Nano Gold Energizing Cream

Would you pay $420 for a face cream? What if the face cream in question contained particles of 24 karat gold?  That face cream is Chantecaille’s Nano Gold Energizing Cream and given that the price is just a little bit out of the Dollface budget (hell, I’d want to be able to wear it if I was spending that much money on gold), I guess I won’t be finding out if it’s worth the price tag anytime soon.

According to the Bergdorf Goodman website: "Nanoparticles of 24-karat gold are bound to silk microfiber, a natural protein
that is moisturizing, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory. Through
nanotechnology, these elements reach the cellular level where they act as the
ultimate healing and preserving force."

Are you convinced? Me neither, but if you have the cash, you can buy it for the aforementioned $420,

I used to work for a dermatologist as a part time job and he said that in his professional opinion, all any face cream can do is be a moisturiser. None of the products out there can actually prove that they do what they say they will. He recommended using a very simple, irritant free cleanser, and moisturiser and to always wear sunscreen.
Plus I’m a biological science student and I can tell you that there is pretty much no way that anything you put on the top of your skin will get into the cells at the deeper layers and regenerate them.
