Dollface of the Day: Gwyneth Paltrow at an “Iron Man” screening in New York
She’s been getting a hard time from The Fashion Police today due to a dodgy outfit choice, but Dollface is going to go easy on Gwyneth Paltrow, not just because I love her new, shorter hair-do (particularly in the soft, wavy style she’s been adopting recently), but also because she looks rather radiant here, with a natural complexion and dark, glittery eyes. Gwyneth, you’ve redeemed yourself in my eyes at least – and I think she’s been looking gorgeous most of the time recently, too. What do you think?
O.P.I’s virtual nail studio lets you try out nail polish online
This is possibly not the most accurate way to try and work out which nail polish to buy, but it’s a bit of fun for a Wednesday afternoon, anyway! It’s O.P.I’s virtual nail studio, which allows you to select your skin tone and then try out different O.P.I. shades to see what looks best. "My" hands are shown wearing the classic ‘OPI Red’. Let’s just say that if I’d stopped at that one, this post would’ve been written a whole lot quicker..

Lush make Blusher that’s pretty enough to put on show!
Aren’t these some of the prettiest blushers you’ve seen? They’re from Lush, and each shade comes in a differnt little case, all with pretty little beads and other embellishments. There are five different shades, and once you’ve found the one that suits you best (it’ll cost you £9.50), you can simply have the pot refilled when it runs out, for £6.50. These would make a nice gift for a fellow beauty addict – assuming you know her blusher colour of choice, of course!

Liz Earle’s Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser is a product I’ve wanted to try for what feels like a really long time now, but I’ve just never seemed to get round to buying it. Well, perhaps now is the time: as part of a special spring offer, you can buy the cleanser itself, along with the Instant Boost Skin Tonic and Skin Repair Moisturiser, for £36.75. This isn’t exactly a tremendous saving on the original £38.25, but you do get a complimentary wash bag along with it. Just don’t spend that whopping £2 you saved all at the same time!

For those days when you’re absolutely broke, but you still want to indulge your love of beauty products and maybe shake up your look a little, eyeliner is the way to go. These new Intense Eyeliner Pens by BarryM (a brand I find hard to resist because their shadows and pencils come in so many fabulous colours) and waterproof, and come in a long-lasting formula, which makes them a good buy for £3.95. Benefit Posietint: Benetint in pink!
Even although Benefit’s Benetint is my cheek colour of choice, I’ve sometimes wondered why it isn’t available in a wider colour range, like most of the copycat versions are. Well, I wonder no more! From this June, you’ll be able to buy Benetint in pink – or "Posietint", to give it its proper name. Looks like I have yet another thing to add to my Beauty Wish List, then…
Posietint is exactly the same as Benetint but for one important fact – it’s pink, rather than red, so it’ll give you a petal-pink flush rather than a rosy one. According to Bella Sugar, the colour is very, very pink indeed out of the bottle, but much more natural looking on the cheeks.

Dollface Reviews NIVEA My Silhouette! sculpting gel cream
It’s actually going to be pretty tricky to provide an accurate review of NIVEA’s new My Silhouette! gel, which claims to help you lose up to three inches on the areas you apply it to (Bums, legs and tums, basically), because I’m currently trying to up my exercise regime in order to get in shape for my holiday, so it’ll be hard to know whether any results come from the gel or the gym!
Nothing ventured, nothing gained, though: I measured my thighs this morning (The things I do for this blog!) and will aim to apply My Silhouette! to them morning and night for the next month, and let you know how I get on with it.
So far, the first surprise is the colour: My Silhouette! is a vivid green, which I totally wasn’t expecting when it came out of the tube. That aside, it has a fresh, fruity smell (I may be going mad, but it reminds me of a perfume, although I can’t put my finger on which one!) which is nice and invigorating to use in the morning, and it absorbs quickly into the skin. Will it give me thinner, smoother thighs, though? I guess I’m about to find out…

Avon Foot Works Pedi Peel for perfect feet
I’m still obsessed with trying to get my feet into shape ahead of my holiday at the start of June (stilettos are great, but they do take their toll!), and next up on my hit list is Avon Foot Works Pedi Peel.
Although the name makes it sound like these are some kind of "face peel" for the feet, they’re actually abrasive pads which you use on any tough skin or callouses (lovely!), to leave the skin soft and pretty. They get rave reviews on the Avon website, and are only $4.99 per tub. Worth a shot, maybe?
