Even although there hasn’t been much sign of it around Dollface Towers, we’re told that Spring is officially here, which means it’s time for me to start thinking about adding a bit of colour to my pale face. I’m not quite ready to go down the route of self-tanners or even tinted moisturisers quite yet, so bronzing powder is a good halfway house for this time of year, adding a shimmer of colour without making people want to constantly ask if you’ve just been abroad.
Elizabeth Arden’s Bronzing Shimmer Powder is one I haven’t tried yet, but it’s currently £11, reduced from £22, at Debenhams, which seems like a good deal. It comes with its own kabuki-style brush and should be used on the forehead, cheeks and brow bones for that sunkissed look.
