Dollface's Beauty Secrets
This beauty meme has been doing the rounds on the web recently, and even although no one tagged me (Sob! No one loves me!) I thought I'd do it anyway, as a kind of snapshot of my current beauty loves...
My Foundation: Currently using Max Factor's Lasting Performance Foundation which I loved when I first started using it about a month ago, but which I'm finding a little too thick now that the sun's finally come out. I'm not loyal to any particular foundation, though, and have yet to find my Holy Grail!
My Mascara: Lancome L'Extreme Waterproof Mascara in black. I talk about this mascara way too much here, but I love it, and even although I'll still try any mascara once, it's the one I always have "in stock" and it's the one I use every day.
My Blush: Benefit Benetint.
My Eye Shadow: I actually hardly ever wear eyeshadow. On the rare occassion that I decide to put some on, usually for a night out, I'll normally go for a sparkly gold one by BarryM which I don't know the name of offhand.
>My Day Cream: Currently using Boots No. 7 Protect & Perfect Day Cream - love it.
My Lipstick: Lancome Juicy Tubes in 'Myrtle' when I want some gloss, but most often a Boots 17 lip pencil in 'In the Buff' which I use over the entire lip area, with Miss Groovy's Lip Poison over the top.
My Beauty Product Brand: Gotta be Benefit.
My Essential Beauty Product: Mascara. If I don't wear it I look like a freak.
My Favorite Makeup Product: As above!
My Perfume: Jean Paul Gaultier Classique.
My Nails: Clear gloss on my hands, sometimes with a touch of glitter in it because I'm secretly 14. Bright red on my toes always. I tend to buy cheap brands like Rimmel because I get through a lot of it...
My Feet: Microplane's Foot File is still one of the best products I've ever bought.
My Hands: People tend to give me hand cream as gifts, for some reason, so I hardly ever buy it myself, and just use whatever comes to hand. Do you see what I did there?
Three Products to bring on a deserted island: Lancome L'Extreme Mascara, tweezers, and SPF50 sun cream.
Woman I Admire for their Beauty: I'm currently obsessed with Kelly Osbourne's skin. Other than that, I can't think of anyone. I'm boring like that.
Woman with the Best Sense of Style: Dita Von Teese - never knowingly under-dressed.
My Ultimate Dream: To live in the sun and have a closet full of Louboutins.
How Do I Define Womanhood: Ummm... I tend not to define womanhood if I can possibly help it.
My Favorite Fashion Publication: The Fashion Police, of course...
