Dollface Reviews: Anatomicals No Old Bags Allowed Eye Gel
This is called No Old Bags Allowed, it’s £3, and it’s a soothing eye gel used to tighten up those bags, as the name suggests. No pineapple smell with this one – it has a very subtle, fruity smell, and feels very cool and refreshing applied first thing in the morning. As for my "old bags", I’ve been seeing less of them this week, so it’s clearly doing something right… Buy: Anatomicals No Old Bags Allowed, £3

Shiseido ‘Honey Cake’ Translucent Soap![]() I use cleanser (or olive oil) on my face and shower gel on my body, so I really don’t have much use for soap, but that doesn’t stop me wanting to buy it every time I see some in a pretty colour or unusual shape. I think these ‘Honey Cake’ translucent soaps by Shiseido definitely qualify: I love the bright colours, but I also love the translucency of them, and think they’d look fabulous brightening up my stark white bathroom, even if I wouldn’t have a whole lot of use for them other than that. They’re $7.50 and available from Nordstrom.

MEMEME Anti Fatigue Foundation with 10 hour sleep effect
MEMEME’s Anti Fatigue Foundation claims to do just that. This contains a natural, energising complex, which the brand say will " improve skin turnover to help skin look healthy and glowing". If it actually does all of that, this could just become my new best friend, especially given that it only costs £6.99 per bottle. It’s part of the MEMEME line, which is sold at Superdrug – I’ve mentioned their Benefit-style cheek stains and highlighters before, and have been intending to check out the brand in person for a while now, so maybe this is just the excuse I’ve been waiting for! As I say, this is available from Superdrug, but it doesn’t seem to have been added to the website just yet, so look out for it in-store. Luxe Beauty: Bobbi Brown Copper Diamond Beauty Trunk – drool!![]() Normally the idea of paying £100 for a makeup case wouldn’t even cross my mind, but if the case in question was this gorgeous gold creation by Bobbi Brown, well, I just could be tempted… With a copper diamond faux leather finish and removable trays, this is the type of case you’ll want to have on full-view at all times. It’s designed to sit on your dressing table, but I guess it would be handy for travel too, if you can bear the thought of it languishing in the hold! It costs £100, and will be available from November at Bobbi Brown counters nationwide. One to add to the Christmas list, methinks. Dollface Reviews: Anatomicals Avoid Getting Zit Faced tropical facial cleanser
Now, as some of you know, I swear by my usual olive oil cleansing routine, and didn’t think I’d be easily dragged away from it, so I surprised myself by how much I loved this. First of all, the smell is absolutely gorgeous – I’m presuming they’re calling it a "tropical" cleanser because of the scent of pineapple, which is lovely and refreshing. As for the cleanser itself, it’s light and easy to use. Yes, it did leave my skin feeling a little tighter than it usually does after my olive oil routine, but I was expecting that. It’s really formulated for people who’re prone to spots, which I’m not particularly, so I can’t comment on how good a job it’ll do of keeping spot-prone or oilier skin clear, but for just £2, at least it doesn’t cost too much to find out. Dollface Reviews: Jean Paul Gaultier Fragile Eau de Parfum![]() For the last few days, I’ve been cheating on my perfume. In fact, it’s gotten so serious, I’m thinking of leaving it altogether and starting a new relationship with Jean Paul Gaultier’s Fragile, so great is my current infatuation with this scent. For years now, you see, I’ve been faithful to Gaultier’s Classique. (At least I’m keeping it "in the family, then, so to speak…) It’s my signature scent, and while I’ll flirt with all of the pretty bottles in the duty free lounge just as much as the next girl, Classique is always the scent that comes home with me. A few months ago, though, Mr Dollface bought me a Gaultier gift set, which included miniatures of his perfumes, including Fragile. Instantly, I was smitten, but I still had an unopened bottle of Classique to get through, so I pushed Fragile to the back of my mind. This week, though, I rediscovered it. And now I think I may just have a new "signature scent"….

LipFusion® ‘BlingFusion After Hours’ Lip PlumpI’m just a little bit obsessed with bright red lips at the moment, and, of course, I’m pretty much always obsessed with plump, pouting, Angelina Jolie-style lips, so Lip Fusion’s ‘BlingFusion After Hours’ Lip Plump would seem to be exactly what I’m looking for – and that’s even without taking into account the gorgeous, sparkly lid! This is a bright, apple red, perfect for that classic glamour" look, and I’m fascinated by the sound of the lip-plumping ability of this one as, unlike most lip plumpers, which simply rely on using ingredients which irritate your lips to make the swell temporarily, this one claims to deliver collagen directly into the lips, plumping them up for 24 hours. All sounds good, but for $49 I’d have to be pretty sure it was going to work before buying it. Anyone tried it?

Dollface Reviews: Rodial Glamtox Peel – the 10 minute face lift
Rodial’s Glamtox Peel, however, sounded like a much better bet to me. Billing itself as “the ten minute face lift” (words almost guaranteed to get my attention), it promised to create a “face lift” like effect in just 10 minutes. “Bring it on!” said Dollface… Here’s what Rodial have to say about it: “Containing revolutionary ingredients such as LaraCare™, which firms, lifts and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and Argirline which works to reduce stress in the skin and to relax contracted muscles, glamtox peel will have an immediate effect on the face. Also featuring Fruit Acids to help refine the complexion, even skintone and soften fine lines, this clay mask will illuminate and brighten, even after the first use.” And does it? You’ll have to read on to find out…
