RoC Retin-Ox™ Wrinkle Filler - the French love it, apparently
French women are famous for their always-groomed appearance, so the fact that they've apparently been snapping up tubes of RoC's Retin-Ox™ Wrinkle Filler like... well, like it's some kind of miracle product that fills in your wrinkles... seems to bode well, non?
RoC reckon four tubes of this anti-wrinkle cream are sold every five minutes in France, and luckily for those of us in the UK, it's just launched here, too. So why all the fuss? (Other than the fact that it's supposed to fill in your wrinkles, obviously?)
Well, Wrinkle Filler (love the name, by the way!) has both an instant and a longer-lasting effect. When you put it on, it claims to instantly smooth out the skin and "plump" your wrinkles, making them less visible. After around 8 weeks of use, however, the company say even the deepest wrinkles will be reduced - and what's not to love about that?
The science bit:
Retin-Ox™ Wrinkle Filler contains:
Pure Retinol - This is the purest form of Vitamin A and helps to regularly renew skin fibres. This helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles day after day.
Hyaluronic Acid – retains high quantities of water in the upper layers of the skin helping the skin to regain volume. It works on the surface of the skin immediately plumping and visibly smoothing the appearance of wrinkles.
Dihydroxy Methyl Chrome - this boosts the efficacy of Retinol meaning less is needed whilst not losing any of the product’s efficacy, and thus improving skin tolerance.
The product has been well received by both the scientific community and skincare experts - and the French - but will it be as well received by the Dollfaces of the world? Well, this is, of course, the hardest test, and it'll cost you £24.35 to find out!
