I don't know about anyone else, but by this time of year, with winter almost over (well, unless you live near Dollface Towers, in which case winter still seems to be going strong), my skin tends to be dry and horrible, and in need of some TLC.
Luckily, that's exactly what's on offer from the Aveeno range of skincare,. They say: "Aveeno only uses naturally active ingredients from nature, proven to benefit the skin. Oats have long been known for being absorptive and hypoallergenic, whilst softening, cleansing and soothing the skin." The range includes everything from a Daily Moisturising Lotion to hand creams and an oat-based bath powder, which smells rather peculiar if you're used to scented soaps and lotions, but is a much kinder way to cleanse very dry skins, and will leave yours feeling both clean and soft. (Your bath will look not-so-clean afterwards, though, so it'll need a quick rinse!)
The classic Aveeno Cream is even prescribed by doctors to help skin conditions like excema, and unlike some creams for dry skin, it's not oily and absorbs into the skin quickly, which makes it a hit with me – I hate having to sit around for ages waiting for cream to sink in before I can get dressed, and that's luckily not the case with this one.

you are so right about skin crying out for TLC at this time of year. the harsh march winds are ripping layers off my skin..or at least it feels that way at times.
I tried aveeno a while ago and it is good for moisture you are right, but i did not enjoy the smell and experience of using it.
I now buy dermalogica and find i can treat most thing with their products. the lip balm is a saviour.
I defnitly will be looking to some of the other Aveeno pruducts. I wonder why the Doctor or skin specialist dont recomend it.
I will be taking with me to my specialist next week Aveeno oatmeal cream and showing him how it has helped me. especially with the itching at nights thanks a million Pamela
