<description>Dragonfruit is native to my region (Southeast Asia), and for all its hot pink exterior and white with black seeds (or red with black seeds) interior. It actually is a very bland, fresh-smelling fruit. Rather like a kiwi without the tang. But when the juice is distilled and concentrated it does have a sweet, fruity scent - but again, not quite the blast of fruitiness. Methinks they were inspired by how it looks? (very exotic)
