At first I wasn't quite sure why Benefit would feel the need to release a new brow shaping product when Brow Zings has been doing the job perfectly well, but closer inspection of their new Brows a-go-go kit confirms that it's basically an upgrade of Brow Zings. The Brow Zings powder and wax are there, and so are the mini tweezers and hard angle brush, but there are also some extras, namely some Eye Bright, a miniature Smokin' Liner, and some brow highlighter powder. So it's Brow Zings with benefits, basically. No pun intended.

Welcome back from the holiday, DF!
My “trouble” with Benefit is that I think they peddle the “money for old rope” philosophy better than almost any other brand I can think of. They jack up the price on the most simplistic of products (e.g. lipliner, concealer) by giving it a zingy name and swathing it in unnecessary – albeit kitsch & cute – packaging. Great fun for the marketing & copywriting team in HQ, but for me it is a turnoff. See, they never do a plain old eyeshadow palette, period. They’ll package your basic neutral/brown/grey in a little cardbox box, name it something like “Smouldering Susan’s Sexy Saucers” – give you a stating-the-bloody-obvious how-to guide on the inside cover, then sell it at c.30% more than you’d ordinarily spend on a similar niche brand. Clever, yet….meh.
Oooo. A bit of a rant there, unfortunately. Rouge-rage!
Squib
haha Squib you have summed it up perfectly! I think most of Benefit’s stuff is a rip-off (except for maybe the Benetints), and their mascara is awful!
