* or claims to, anyway.
I know this gos without saying, readers, but let's treat this one with a healthy dose of cynicism, shall we? After all, if a lip balm really could make you thin, well, everyone would be thin. And lip balm would cost a fortune.
This Fat Burner Energy Lip Balm, however, doesn't just claim to help curb your appetite, it also claims to boost your energy. It does this by applying a dose of Hoodia Extract (an appetite suppressant), Green Tea Extract (aids metabolism), Chromium Picoliante (helps fat burn and increase energy) and natural caffeine (you don't need me to tell you) onto your lips, the idea being that you apply it when you're tired or hungry, and it stops you snacking. Or napping, presumably.
Does it work? I have no idea, because I haven't tried it. If you want to, it costs £4.95 and comes in four different flavours. Get it here.

The thing about products like this is, the ingredients may (or may not) do what they say, but the amount of those ingredients you’re going to imbibe by wearing them on your lips is never going to be enough to be effective. You’d basically have to EAT the contents of the tube (and several more) for it to have any effect.
