Those of you who like your eye shadows as brightly coloured as possible will probably find this product deeply boring, but, not being much of an eye shadow wearer, I think it's just about perfect, because it contains more or less everything I'd need to get me through the winter, with its combination of neutrals, black and brown. Although I'm always wary of palettes, which tend to only contain a couple of shades worth using, this is one I could see myself using again and again, and I also like the sound of the gel/cream texture, which sounds like it should be comfortable to wear, too.
The colours have what Chanel describe as a "luminous sheen" to them, and if it wasn't $65, I think this could make a really useful addition to the ol' makeup box.

Those are some gorgeously wearable colours that would suit almost anybody. I’d be interested to see what the gel/cream texture wears like. Anything gel-like tends to just slide off my oily skin after a couple of hours.
