Now, I love Drew Barrymore. I may have mentioned this once or twice before.
I really hope her hair’s like this for a role, though, although from what I can gather, it doesn’t seem like it is. Dip-dyed hair just isn’t my favourite look, I must admit, but what do you think? One more photo under the jump, to help you decide…

I don’t mind this look when it’s a colour at the end. But the black is too harsh. Doesn’t Cruella de Ville have her hair like that?

I hate to have to say this but she’s TOO OLD for this look. On a teenager, dip dye looks fun and quirky. On anyone over 25, it shrieks of mutton dressed as lamb.
And now I feel like my mother. *sighs*
Don’t you remember when this was popular in the late 1990s?
I always wanted the peroxide blonde hair with the electric blue ends like Emma Bunton in the Spice Girls at this time.
Not a fan of it on her though – the look is about 10 years old now and it just doesn’t suit her.

It’s growing on me!
First reaction was ‘ugh’ but now I’m kind of liking it.. eek. I’d never do it myself though.
Awful. And is it just me, or are her eyebrows kind of off too? Like the thinner part was filled in with an eye pencil and the bushier part near her nose wasn’t? She seems to either look amazing or strange.
No Drew no! It’s horrible, it looks like her hairdresser has made a mistake and hasn’t corrected it.
Whoops. Looks like the Photoshop was broken in the first one.
Is it a tribute to Andy Warhol?
Yuck, I hate this look. It’s pretty popular in my high school, and I like to call it “skunk hair.” What makes it funny is that most of the girls wind up with green-tinted hair on the blonde parts, for reasons unknown to me. Couple that with orangey-tan skin and you have today’s teenager…at least where I live.
I’m in the minorty it seems, but I kind of like it. I’m a bit sad that certain looks are assigned to certain ages, and I admire Drew for flaunting a “young” do. From where I’m standing she IS young!
I don’t like this at all. I usually love black and blonde together, but the blonde is too much of a yellow blonde (I think white blonde looks so much nicer with black) and the dip-dye effect just looks too harsh here. Also, is it just me or does her hair look really damaged?
I don’t like it at all!
When I first saw a picture of it I thought it was kind of a ragged, short bob, but then I realized the black part was her hair….I think it looks pretty silly, almost as though it was a mistake.
