At $50, this Kate Spade makeup bag is about $30 more than I’d normally spend on something I’m just going to mess up with spilt cosmetic, but what can I say: I have a bit of a weakness for airmail-themed products. (No, really…) It’s certainly very cute, but I think I’d like it better if it was matt white, rather than clear: I have a feeling that the jumble of makeup inside would spoil the effect just a little bit, here. Whew, $50 saved!

Unfortunately it being clear also means that the “made in China” tag is very visible. (Not that I have a problem with things made in China, but for the $50 price tag, you’d hope they’d be a bit more discreet)
You might be able to use it at airports for putting your cosmetics in rather than the plastic bags they hand out??? certainly more stylish!
OH MY GOODNESS!! I love this! But the price is a bit steep. Still I think I shall keep an out for it next time I am in the US!
