Don’t tell anyone. OK, no, I’m not. I was, in fact, trying out Moor Spa’s Refining Facial Mask:
Mr Dollface was out at the time, and because I’m Sod’s Law’s favourite victim, I spent a panicked few minutes absolutely convinced that someone would come to the door while I was covered in this stuff. Luckily they didn’t, and so I live to provide you with this product review. Don’t say I’m not good to you. Dollface Reviews: Rodial Glamtox Peel – the 10 minute face lift
Rodial’s Glamtox Peel, however, sounded like a much better bet to me. Billing itself as “the ten minute face lift” (words almost guaranteed to get my attention), it promised to create a “face lift” like effect in just 10 minutes. “Bring it on!” said Dollface… Here’s what Rodial have to say about it: “Containing revolutionary ingredients such as LaraCare™, which firms, lifts and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and Argirline which works to reduce stress in the skin and to relax contracted muscles, glamtox peel will have an immediate effect on the face. Also featuring Fruit Acids to help refine the complexion, even skintone and soften fine lines, this clay mask will illuminate and brighten, even after the first use.” And does it? You’ll have to read on to find out…

Dove Spa ‘Dewdrops’ Refreshing Facemask
Luckily for me, Dove Spa’s ‘Dewdrops’ refreshing mask promises just that. If you’re not familiar with Dove Spa’s products, they all have wonderful sounding names like ‘Hot Stuff’, ‘Spring Embrace’ and the aforementioned ‘Dewdrops’, and they come in a refreshingly minimal packaging that makes me feel less stressed already. Dewdrops itself costs £20, and contains peppermint, cucumber extract and moisturising panthenol to keep your skin hydrated and refreshed. Buy it here. |
