I’m not normally much of a budget-beauty girl, but I discovered Revlon Skinlights a few years ago, during a trip to Las Vegas, and have been buying it ever since. This is a skin illuminator which you can use either mixed with your foundation or on its own. I normally put my foundation on first, then put a few dots of this along the cheekbone and blend, in much the same way as I’d use my (much more expensive) Benefit Highbeam.

Skinlights isn’t quite as dramatic as Highbeam, but is does give your skin a lovely, dewy look, and if you mix it with foundation it can be a nice “pick me up” for tired old skin (which is how mine is most of the time). Not bad for £9.95…
