Celebrity Beauty: Nicole Richie at the 2010 Oscars
One of my favourite looks from the 2010 Oscars so far: Nicole Richie always looks effortlessly stylish, and her high-necked gown, up-do and flicked-out eyeliner gave her a bit of a retro look which really suits her. What do you think?

Celebrity Beauty: Deborah Ann Woll at the 2010 Oscars
I love to see my fellow redheads on the red carpet, although I must admit, it’s not often I look at ANY celebrity on the red carpet and think how easily I could replicate their hair and makeup! True Blood star Deborah Ann Woll, however, went for a super-simple look at this year’s Oscars, with her hair pulled back into a low pony tail, and her makeup fairly neutral, other than the red lipstick. Simple, but stunning.

I really love this photo of Kelly Brook heading off to the 2010 Oscars: doesn’t she look beautiful? 2008 Oscar Beauty: Jennifer Garner
As I just commented over at The Fashion Police, I’m not sure if it’s because we’re so used to seeing Jennifer Garner completely sans makeup, but she looks almost unrecognisable here. She’s one actress who can actually get away with the barefaced look, but I think she looks stunning here, with glossy, brown-toned lips and an a loose updo. The hair might not have been quite so successful on someone else, but I think it makes Jen look very elegant – what do you think?
2008 Oscar Beauty: Amy Adams
I’m biased towards redheads, seeing as I am one myself, but I thought Amy Adams was one of the best dressed at last night’s Oscars, with her green dress complimenting her red hair perfectly.
Amy was another of the red lipstick brigade, choosing a sparkly brown liner to outline her eyes with for a subtle but still glamorous look.
