I didn’t get on with Too Faced’s Lip Injection when I tried it back in 2007, but that doesn’t mean you won’t: one thing I’ve learned about lip plumpers is that what irritates the lips (and hence makes them swell) can vary enormously from person to person, and while this didn’t work for me, I do know people who absolutely swear by it.
If you fall into that category, you may be pleased to know that the famous gloss is also available in a range of colours, too, so you can add colour as well as shine and plumpness! These glosses cost £12 each, and you can buy them at HQ Hair, amongst other places.

The ol’ ‘lipgloss with a light in the lid’ has become fairly commonplace in the beauty world, but now here’s Too Faced with a mascara-with-a-light-in-the-lid. Ha! Didn’t expect that, did you? Or maybe you did. Maybe you frequently apply mascara in the dark, and all this time you’ve been thinking, “Lordy, if only someone would invent a light-up mascara!” And now someone has.
It’s not just the lid that lid that lights up, though: it’s your actual lashes. Because this contains, according to Too Faced, “millions of microscopic mirrors”. This means that when you apply it, the light bounces off said mirrors, making your lashes look shiny and glossy. Or that’s the theory, anyway. It also thickens and conditions the lashes, and contains “Panthenol and Vitamins C and E keep lashes healthy and Red Algae increases Keratin resistance for maximum lash flexibility”. So now you know.
Fancy trying it out? It’s $25 from www.sephora.com .

Well, I don’t know about you, but I’m broke. While browsing for budget cosmetics, though, I was surprised to find a few great deals on not-so-budget brands, too. Too Faced’s Lip Injection Mask, for instance, is currently just £6.95 at Buy Cosmetics, and given that the regular price is £19, that’s quite some saving.
This is Too Faced’s version of their famous Lip Injection, only in mask format. You spread it on with the spatula provided, and then sit back and relax for a few minutes, only to emerge with plump, luscious lips. That’s the idea, anyway. The plump lips didn’t happen for me with the original Lip Injection, but for £6.95 I could well be persuaded to give this stuff a try…
